City Street Seal Coating Begins August 20th
Seal coating work is tentatively scheduled to begin on August 20th (weather permitting). John Haberman of the Heron Lake Street Department is working with the Pearson Brothers, Inc. of Hanover, Minnesota, to complete seal coating on select City Streets.
Seal coating is a restorative road process that improves the surface by sealing the asphalt and adding red rock, which extends the longevity of the road. No parking signs will be posted on the street on August 19th. The streets scheduled for seal coating are highlighted in pink on the map and listed below
